Put clock upside down on a soft surface and remove back.

Carefully take out all packing material including twist ties.

Do not take the ties off the chains yet.

Replace back, being sure to lock the latch.

Hang on wall using a secure screw with a large head.
Be sure the head of the screw is all the way through the back of
the clock,  and that the head catches. (see illustration)

Take the twist ties off the chains and hang the weights.

Put the top on the clock, if there is one, and make sure it is secure.

Hook the pendulum on the pendulum hanger, which should be
protruding out of the slot on the bottom of the clock. If its not, you may have to take off the back again and guide the hanger through the slot.

Unlock the cuckoo door(s) by turning the wire holding the door shut.

Give the pendulum a little push to start it ticking.

Set the time by moving the MINUTE hand clockwise, being sure to
stop at every half hour (or quarter hour for quarter hour strike clocks)
to let the clock cuckoo through ts cycle.

NEVER turn the hands backward!

NEVER turn the hour hand at all!

To make the clock run faster, take off the pendulum and move
the bob (or leaf) upwards a little on the stick.

To make the clock run slower, move the leaf down a little.

It may take some time to get it just right.

Good Luck And Have Fun!
